Hilton Head Island Family Session

This weekend we had the pleasure of photographing the Ford family on the beach while they were on vacation in Hilton Head. We love shooting in the late evening. The light is so amazing then. Here is a sneak peek of their night.

Sally and Scott’s GTKY session in Savannah

We love photographing in downtown Savannah! It is so much fun to walk around town and searching for great light. We were so lucky be able to meet up with Sally and Scott this weekend for their Get To Know You session before their headed back to their home in Paris. We are really looking forward to their June wedding! Here is a sneak peek!

It’s fun to play with your food…

Ok so there is no question that I love cake. I always have and always will. Scott on the other hand has never been a cake fan. That changed though after the first time he had a slice of cake from Sheri’s Edible Designs during our local networking group’s holiday party. Well needless to say were super stoked that we won July’s trivia question on Sheri’s facebook fanpage. This month’s question was “There is one appliance I refuse to own. Name that appliance!” We had the correct answer, which was a freezer. Our prize was a sampler platter of delicious cake. Best. Prize. Ever. So we decided it would only be fair to share some of our cake with you (through photos that is). Be prepared to drool…

Peanut Butter Bonanza- White and chocolate cake with peanut butter crème.

Pink Champagne- Alternating layers of pink and white cake filled with whipped pink champagne crème.

Strawberry Cream- White cake with whipped butter cream filling, vanilla custard and fresh strawberries. (my personal fave!)

Haig Point Family Session

A few days ago, Scott and I had the pleasure of heading out to Haig Point, one of our favorite places, to photograph the whole Rollauer family (8 adults and 9 kids) while they were on vacation in South Carolina. Here is a sneak peek!
