scott got addicted to photography as a kid after confiscating his mom’s camera. he went to college for political science, but got a canon rebel for christmas one year, so much for political science. he got involved with nature photography and was soon exhibiting his images, assisting at workshops and tours and teaching classes on his own. a friend introduced scott to wedding photography in 2003 and he has been documenting them ever since. little things about scott, the accent is from growing up in kentucky, he has a tattoo on his ankle, loves pepsi and anything apple (computer that is, and pie).
melissa grew up in miami and moved to philadelphia while in elementary school. she has a passion for exploring new places and learning about different cultures. her goal is to travel to every continent (halfway there!). little things about melissa, she swam competitively throughout her childhood, she has an irrational fear of crickets and has double jointed, hitch-hiker thumbs.
scott and melissa met online in february of 2007. they got engaged that september and married in july of 2008. melissa joined scott in documenting weddings that year. together with their golden doodle, henry, they reside in savannah.
